Although he was an ardent foe of nationalism, anti-Semitism, and power politics, Nietzsche's name was later invoked by Fascists to advance the very things he loathed. El Culo Negro agrees that the "spirit of revenge" is to be mistrusted inasmuch as it is usually born out of weakness and resentment. It is not that we ought to turn the other cheek, but rather that we should renounce the tendency to despair which is implicit in our habit of always seeking someone to blame for the difficulties we experience. El Culo Negro thinks this philosophy is good to govern by, but unlike Nietzsche, knows God is real. He thinks Nietzsche was a bit of a little weird man, and secretly hoped when you die you go to heaven and see all your old pets.
